Lear Werts attorney Anthony Meyer passed the October 2020 California Bar Exam and will register as a licensed attorney in the state of California. The California Bar Exam is reputed to be one of the most difficult bar exams in the United States. For the October 2020 sitting, the pass rate for first-time test takers was 74%, and the overall pass rate was 60.7%. Upon passing the bar exam, Meyer said, “I am extremely proud to become licensed to practice law in California. Because our firm regularly represents employees of national employers and large classes of consumers where the same policy or product has harmed people nationwide, the nature of our practice requires us to be prepared to manage cases all across the country. Becoming licensed in California helps further that practice, and I genuinely look forward to using my license to help future clients in the state of California.” Meyer is also licensed to practice law in Missouri state and federal court.
