RESULTS

Lear Werts successfully represented two clients who were injured in a violent boat crash on the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri. Our clients were passengers in a boat when the driver, who was alleged to be under the influence of alcohol, crashed the boat at a high rate of speed into a dock. Both clients were forcefully thrown towards the front bow of the boat and sustained serious abrasions, bruises, and lacerations over their bodies. The driver of the boat was charged with multiple crimes as a result of his actions. Lear Werts was able to secure a satisfactory six-figure settlement without needing to file a lawsuit.
