Lear Werts recovered a five-figure settlement for a state employee that injured her knee while walking from the sidewalk to the parking lot on uneven terrain at the corrections facility at which she was employed. The injured worker severely twisted her knee and required a substantial amount of medical treatment, including knee surgery. The settlement that Lear Werts fought to obtain provided the client with compensation for the permanent disability she suffered as a result of her work injury.
