Lear Werts partner, Sander Sowers, announced his candidacy for the Missouri Bar Board of Governors. Sander is seeking to serve as the representative for District 15, which covers Boone and Callaway counties. Sander has been active in the Missouri Bar throughout his career, having most recently served as the Chair of the Missouri Bar Young Lawyers Section Council. In his announcement, Sander noted the able service of the outgoing representative for District 15 and humbly asked for the support of his colleagues:

In a few weeks, the Missouri Bar will hold an election to select the representative for our district (Boone and Callaway counties) on the Board of Governors.  Our district has been capably served for many years by Bob Buckley, who is not running for re-election.  I am seeking to fill Bob’s seat and I would appreciate your support in this election. …
